The South Korean government and private sector plan to invest 123.5 billion won ($95.89 million) next year to accelerate digital transformation in key industries like automobiles, shipbuilding, secondary batteries, foundational industries, and machinery. The plan includes a collaborative data utilization system for electric vehicle production and supply chain.

The initiative aims to reduce costs, optimize logistics, and automate processes in shipbuilding, secondary battery, and foundational industries through AI-controlled production and collaboration with local companies.

The Korean government plans to integrate data from machinery equipment, robots, and factories with international standards, and establish an AI autonomous manufacturing platform for high-level production, logistics optimization, and high-quality mass production, aiming to enhance industrial competitiveness and prevent accidents.
