New statistics about millions of migrants released into the United States under President Joe Biden pose concern for him as he turns to his reelection 2024.

Under the Biden administration, Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has released over 2.3 million migrants into the U.S. at the southern border, a significant increase from the 6 million taken into custody during the same period, potentially bolstering criticism from Donald Trump and other Republicans on the campaign trial.

Biden faces criticism from Democrats over his administration’s southern border policies, making him vulnerable to the surge in undocumented immigration. He has also criticized congressional Republicans for refusing to consider his plan to overhaul the broken immigration system, stating that until Congress takes action, the administration will work to improve the border.
